FAQ's
Here are some frequently asked questions and answers that you may be thinking of asking us in preparation for our big day!
When should I/we RSVP by?
We request that RSVP's should be done as soon as possible but no later than 21st March 2025 - this gives us three months to tweak anything if necessary!
What is the easiest way to get to the venue?
As our venue is situated within a school grounds right on the A24, the easiest way to get there is by car.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There will be a wedding co-ordinator on the day who will guide you to where you can park if you are driving. It will be right next to the Walled Garden so you will have easy access to your vehicle should you need it! Cars can be left overnight but we request that these are collected by 11am the following day!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The majority of the wedding will be outdoors as this is a garden wedding. However, there will be a plan in place for if the weather is not on our side on the day!
Is there a dress code?
There is no strict dress code. However, as we are getting married in a garden, florals and bright colours are really encouraged! We also suggest to the ladies to avoid wearing stiletto style heels due to the majority of it being on grass so either a wedge or a block heel (or even flat shoes!) would be more appropriate.
Can I bring a plus one?
We kindly request that plus ones are not to be brought unless stated on the invite as we would have included these people in our guest list.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Similarly to the question regarding plus one's, we request that children are not to be brought unless stated on the invite as we would have included these people in our guest list (as much as we love your little ones!)
What food will be served?
We will be serving nibbles shortly after the ceremony followed by food vans with options to choose from. As we asked for dietary requirements in your RSVP, we have taken these into account when selecting food choices to ensure we cater to every guest's needs!
Will there be an open bar?
No, there will be no bar at all. We are supplying all of the drinks ourselves with selections of alcoholic and soft beverages to cater to every guest (including the children and the teetotalers!)
Are photos allowed to be taken at the wedding?
Absolutely! The more photos to remember our big day, the better! However, we kindly request that no photos are to be taken during the ceremony. We have an impeccable photographer who will be taking professional photos on the day.
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
We do not have any issues with photos being posted on social media, however please can we ask that this wait until AFTER the big day as we would love our guests to be as present as possible during the celebrations.
I have other questions, who should I contact?
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with either one of us or if you have better connections with our parents, they'll be more than happy to pass any questions on for you!
